Michael Jeffrey Jordan (born February 17, 1963) is a retired American basketball player and active businessman and majority owner of the Charlotte Bobcats. His biography on the National Basketball Association (NBA) website states, "by acclamation, Michael Jordan the greatest basketball player of all time."
