Jordan needed 15 points to 30,000 to achieve, and he got it with the second of two free throws with 5:28 to go in the half, the Wizards a 45-31 lead. Jordan enters Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (38 387)Karl Malone (33 654) and Wilt Chamberlain (31 419) the only player to reach 30000th Jordan scored 29 277 in 13 seasons with the Bulls.
