Michael Jordan buzzer beater: Bulls vs Hornets, 1997
Fresh from recording the first ever triple double in an All-Star game, Michael Jordan, the Charlotte Hornets showed why he is the greatest player in the world. Ironically, the Bulls first opponent after the All-Star break, the Hornets to their best player, Glen Rice was MVP award won in the 1997 All-Star game. Rice had a solid game against the Bulls and scored 32 points on 9 of 17 shots. But as he always does, Michael Jordan put on the cape, scored 43 points and hit a game-winning threeat the buzzer to give the Bulls won 103-100. MJ hit 16 of 24 shots and made 10 of 14 free throws. Scottie Pippen had a terrible game, offensively, scoring only five points on 2 of 13 shots.
