Milwaukee Bucks @ Chicago Bulls | 2 January 1998: Jordan with 44 points

The first game in the new year between Milwaukee (14-15) and Chicago (2-10) was one of those "fun games" with a lot of mass-pleasing moments. Michael Jordan and Glenn "Big Dawg" Robinson was on fire for the whole game, both scored 44 points apiece (Jordan 15-22, 18-30 Robinson plays from the field) and made a lot of great. Jordan was particularly phenomenal. He brought his game vintage - fadeaways, alley-oops, reverse layups, coast to coast plays - you name it. He had the fans on their feetAll game long with his spectacular play, just a month before his 35th Birthday. His teammates were also great, especially Longley and Rodman. Luc had almost had a triple double (24 points, 9 RBS, 8 AST) Rodman during the show in the final minutes. Not with his rebound or defend, even though he had 21 rebounds in this game. "The Menace" went on the 3-pointer crazy. "Taco-Dennis met" a couple threes, rolled the score up to 114 to 100 and so did the cheering crowd a round of free tacos.
